FastStone Capture is a screen capture utility. You can capture the whole screen, a specific window, or a specific area to a variety of file formats and even perform basic editing. This package includes the last fully freeware version of FastStone Capture. As such, it does not work as well with modern Windows' shadowed window edges. For best performance with modern Windows, you can purchase the current release of FastStone Capture which is shareware.

I am going to explanation how to use FastStone Capture.

1. If you don't already have it, go to the website and download it.
2. Install the software. 
3. If you got the zipped version, be sure that you have an unzipping program for it.
4. Start up the program. More than likely, you will see a tiny dialogue box up in the upper right hand corner of your screen
5. Click on Print Screen. It is in the upper right hand portion of your keyboard. 
6. This will bring up the screenshot in the FastStone software.
7. Look at the options that are available. There are quite a few. Save As, Rectangle, Zoom In / Out, 100%, Draw, Caption, Edge, Resize, Paint, Crop, Cut/Copy/Paste, Email, Print, Word (Allows you to send it to Word, PowerPoint, or the Internet using FTP), Close.
